You can also get a PSU with that connector. I don't remember where it plugs in on your model, but if you were using it before, I would not buy a PSU without it.

Also, since you are replacing it, go on up to 550 to 650 watts.

Fans not working in hp pavilion p7 1003w

Are you sure they are getting power? Check by using a plug off of an old fan. Power it up and read the voltage on the red and black wire. Should be 12 volts. Check by swapping SYS FAN With JP1. If there is no voltage then I would say your looking for a burnt or bad voltage regulator on the board. It could also be a bad power supply. Use a Q-tip to first spin the fans with the PC off. Do they spin freely?

If they dont, replace them. If they do spin free, turn on the PC.(Make sure to go into the bios setup so id doesnt continue to boot.) Try to spin the fans now. If the dont spin free, it means there is voltage there, but the fan is toast. Replace them.
FOR A QUICK FIX: If it is the power supply or MB . They sell an adapter that plugs into the HD power. get as many as you need and a power splitter or two depending in your power supply configuration. Plug the fans into the adapters then go into the bios setup and disable the fan warning. The fans will be on high at all times. The MB will have no control over the speed. Good luck. Hope this helps.

There is a white wire that is not there on the hp power supply and the computer shuts off after 10 sec. or so.

Is the PSU's the same type? The plugs will be different by type. Hopefully you didn't fry any MOBO components.

My hp L1506 Lcd monitor power suply is out can i repair it

Yes, if you have knowledge, circuit diagram etc.
I suggest you take it to an electronic repair shop, power supplies are dangerous if they are not fixed properly.

Crate flexwave 120 tuner and all effects stoped working

Hi there,I have the same problem with my flexwave 120. I opened the amp to measure several capacitors on the small effect circuit board. If one of this capaciters have internal short circuit, wich will effect the others causing effects to fail. I removed them one by one to find possible short circuit. All capacitors were ok. I think the problem is in the processor wich is to diffucult to replace. I think it's easier to replace the effects circuit board. But where do we find this board??10_29_2011_6_25_35_am.jpg

Problem with the HP Bestec ATX-1956D 200w HP Part No 0950-4106 Power Supply What voltage is P7 connector on this p/s and what is the pinout of this 3 pin connector... 2-black leads an a green lead?

Most computer testing facilities will test your current power supply for free. A replacement is very inexpensive to replace. Bestbuy, MicroCenter, small computer shops and buy replacemnent from, Just make sure you have the correct information for your replacement. The model number on the power supply would be your best bet in most cases. Good luck and have a great day. I buy power supplies as low as $15 dollars Generic

Power suply

If the power supply fried, it is likely one of the power amp channels, usually the rearmost one has fried. There is a weak insulation thing between layers of the multi-layer circuit board that shorts.

DO NOT replace a fuse in a failed unit till problem is fixed as you will LIKELY do more damage!!!!

Tower seems to have no power yet the monitor and all other equipment work wireless connections also work?

most common, make sure that it is properly plugged in. The plug can sit in the back of the power suply but not be fully in.
The next step may be to replace your power supply (IF NEEDED - dont get scared yet)..
Also make sure that the computer may have a power supply in the back (where the power cable goes in) that has it's own power switch. This has to be on.

Dell (HP-L161NF3P) (P0813) 160-Watt Power Supply ,how i can repaire it

the news on this one is bad unless your an electrical enginer. you can buy a refurbed PSU for about 35 quid. alternatly you could plug a standard power suply into the PC as all the plugs are standard fittings the trouble with that is you would not be able to put the case back together afterwards

No power - have checked fuses, power leads and master switch

Well yes, there a problem in the power supply modual.
It does sound like a failing power supply , becuse of the
fact you don't get charge up spark from the plug , wich is normal
affter it's been off /unpluged for 20 min or so .

check the resistance of the plug coming from the set with a volt meter if you have 10 meg ohms or higher,
it's an open circuit and more than likely a 1.50 fuse in the power
supply. If the fuse blows instantly then it's a shorted output transistor or rectifier diode in the switching power supply.

Be a shame to pay 300.00 plus for a stupid fuse.

hope that helps a little . if you have any questions just comment
an i'll respond
