Question about Dell Dimension 2400 PC Desktop
I have a dell dimension 2400. the keyboard connection is loose and i need to change it. my keyboard is working but only sporadically. i can see and feel the looseness in the connection.
HOW DO I DO THIS?
You will have to either repair the connection with a soldering iron, replace it (which means finding a connector from another board and desoldering that one, then desoldering yours and installing the good one), or simply change to a USB keyboard.
By far the easiest thing to do is change to a USB keyboard. You could also use a simple USB to PS2 converter if you don't wish to change keyboards, the converter would simply allow you to plug your keyboard into a USB slot on your computer.
