Solenoid has dead short. Replace it. Cost is low. Crossing terminals on today's engines with electronic ignition parts is dangerous to the other parts.

My zero turn husqvarna ran great last week. Know it wont start. I turn the key..nothing. I checked the fuses, all good. Brake is on , steering arms are in neutral..battery charged. I has to be something...

Check and see if your getting battery voltage at the starter terminal when trying to start engine. This may take two people, one to sit on seat while turning the key to start and one to check to see if there is any voltage to starter when trying to crank. If there is battery voltage at the starter when being cranked, you have a bad starter. If you don't have voltage at starter when being cranked, check and see if there is a starter signal going to the starter solenoid. I'm not sure where it is exactly located on this peticular model but it is not that far from the battery. The main positive lead which is red in color goes to the starter solenoid first. Then there is another lead with the same thickness that goes to the starter from the starter solenoid. There should be a small wire between 14-16 gauge going to the starter from the ignition switch. Disconnect that small wire and check and see if your getting battery voltage when trying to crank engine. If you are getting battery voltage to the solenoid, the starter solenoid is bad. If your not getting battery voltage to the starter solenoid when cranking, check all safety switches that would cause the circuit to be interrupted, not allowing the starter solenoid to be energized. Hope this works out.

Why won't my yard man briggs and stratton 7.5 hp engine crank

Check for blown fuse if good put a light tester on the starting then turn the key if your tester lights up then you know that the stater is bab if it does not then you do not have power to the shotch. One red wire should have power all the time and the other red wire should have power only when the key is on.

Wont start

Sounds like a wiring problem at the gas tank.
I would check for voltage and ground for the fuel pump and the sending unit for the gauge.

Will not start

I have a feeling what happened was you shorted out the ignition switch, somehow. If you can get behind the switch without much trouble, try to jump the wires together 2 at a time just to see if it will jump the , lights, starter, ignition, one of the 3. or get a voltage tester, it will do the same thing. There is a fuse on there in the line, sits next to the battery. check it. Hope this helps,

Check for fusible links close to the battery, they may be just wires or they may look like giant fuses. Use an electrical tester to see if current is passing through them. Also you can try using a screwdriver to connect the main bttery power at the starter to the cellunoid to check that it will start. Just make sure it is in park or neutral and the emergency brake is on.

Cub cadet 2135 wont start

check for a fuse behind the ignition
it might be blown
then i would check the starter solenoid
if you put a screwdriver accross the bolts that hold the wire from the starter and ignition switch and it tries to start there's ur problem.
