SOURCE: No remote found

If pushing the power button does nothing, the unit is probably in "protect mode". This means there is an internal problem and will require professional service.

SOURCE: remote control or universal remote that works on my durabrand home theater system 2004 model # HT 3915

The easiest thing to do would be to go to an electronics store, look on the back of the remote control package and look for Durabrand.
It should come with a booklet with the setup codes.

Thats all I got for now.

Hope that helped, good lukc, please rate.

SOURCE: remote codes for sansui audio products

only a sansui remote can replace itself, sansui is a great company and prides itself on being unique, you would have to order a remote directly from the maker if possible to use all the function of your unit. even if u get a universal unit to program it probably won't control all of ur function.

I purchased and programmed a new remote to my 5701 system. the lock and unlock functions work byt i just get a loud beep, flashing red light on the remote and my headlights blink 7 times

The seven flashes from your parking lights is the remote starter error diagnostic. Seven flashes is the message for neutral safety wire. The toggle switch under the dash is in the off position or, if the small, thin black with white wire is not connected to ground.

Remote control not working...

I'm not sure of the exact fix, but when these components were assembled a few of the connections involving the remote sensor were not saudered. An easy fix if you know where to look.
