Hi,
Did you try uninstalling and installing the drivers. Have a try with this and check your mouse working or not. here are the steps

start-->run--> type devmgmt.msc -->you would get device manager window---> select mouse--> rightclick on it---> uninstall the drivers and then click on install. Restart the system once. Hope your mouse would work.

Thanks

Try rebooting the computer, this will generally fix it. Sometimes plugging in a mouse while a computer is on will cause the computer not to see it. Also if its a usb mouse try plugging it into a different position or port. Another thing you could try is getting the latest drivers if you can from the manufacturers website.
If rebooting it while it is plugged in does not work, then it could be a faulty mouse and I would reccomend getting a new one.

What are you using? a laptop or a PC?

If you are using a PC then check that the mouse is connected properly to the slot. Also check the ball inside the mouse, it happens sometimes when its dirty, clean the ball inside the mouse and also inside the mouse(use a small cloth).

If you mouse is wireless then check the battery in your mouse. It might run out of charge. Also check the button which is used to turn on the mouse. It might be jammed.

If its a touchpad there is no solution that I can think of other than buying a mouse.

Cursor stuck in the middle of screen!!!!!

this happened to me. try pressing the Fn key (mine is in blue, next to the left control key on the bottom of the keyboard) and hold it while you press the F7 key and release. try moving your mouse. Those two buttons together turn the touchpad device on and off.

If you are using an external mouse, unplug it and see if it will go with the pad.If it works with the pad then its the exteranal mouse.
If you are using the pad you may have to replace the pad or recalibrate it using the pointer device, you can use the tab key to go through to the start menu then use the arrow keys to go to control panel.
Hope this helps
