Press and Hold the End of Cycle Signal button for 15 seconds, this will unlock the control. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

atpeace1977, here's the service manual. It will tell you anything you want to know about this dryer. Scroll to page 36, should be it. Give it just a minute to download. I feel that seeing the pictures along with the explanation will be easier than trying to explain it entirely in words.

I have a whirlpool duet dryer GEW9250PW1 and the control panel wont come on, I have took out the circuit boards cleaned them with contact cleaner blew out the top and took off the bottom panel and blew it out, after all that it still wont come on unless you unplug it for at least 20 minutes.

if you tapped on it and it work then you have a loose connection somewhere
