Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
HOW DO I GET THE BACK OFF THE Washing machine to check to see if there is anything stuck in the pump
The best access for your discharge pump is from the front. Look at the bottom of the front of the machine and you will see two screws that hold on the lower inspection panel. you will need a #2 red handled roberts screw driver. Take out the screws and pull the panel down and slightly away from the machine. The pump will be in the front right of the machine. These pumps can only handle 1 load of wash per hour and they do burn out after about 4 years.
