HI there,

This is made by loosening the screw to the at each end of the rail in tyhe black plastic piece thatslides through the side wall. then turning the plastic piece in either direction slightly and tightening the screw again. You might need to do this a few times to get it right.

How do you fix density shutter error and sensor calibration error on OKI C9650 Printer

The shutter protects the density sensors and keeps the windows on the sensors clean, until they wear out. Replace the shutter assy (part number 42755401) and clean the sensor windows.

If this doesn't solve the problem, you may be at the beginning stages of a broken gear for the top cover mechanism that protects the LED printheads when the cover is open. As a test, you can remove the 4 black protective covers from the printheads and see if your machine will calibrate itself. If it does, I recommend leaving the protectors off and just be extra careful of the LED printheads when you change toners...

My OKI B4600 is displaying error 134

It means the printhead [laser] is "missing" - but usually it's just the data cable at the end of the printhead has popped out. Very common - we have hundreds of Okis at our corp and I've fixed this many times. Turn the power off, pull either the left or right plastic clip AWAY from the printhead, and carefully insert the data cable back into the connector on the printhead. Put one end of the printhead nearest the data cable back into its plastic clip, and make sure the spring is seated on its little post on the bar, and then click the rest of the printhead into the clip on the end opposite of the data cable, again making sure the spring is seated on its post. Turn the printer on - your error should now be gone.

NEED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CHANGE OUT A PRINTHEAD ON A OKIDATA 3410 PRINTER

Printhead

(1) Open the access over.

(2) Pull up and rotate the head clamp 1 to unclamp the printhead 2 as shown fig. 3.3.1.

(3) Disconnect the printhead 2 from PC connector 3.

(4) To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order.

Notes on installation:

(1) Insert the printhead 2 into the PC connector 3 while pushing it against the carriage

frame 4.

(2) The head clamp 1 must surely be sandwiched between printhead 2 and carriage

frame 4 as shown Figure 3.3.2.

(3) Be sure to check the gap between platen and printhead (see 4).

(4) Be careful not to touch the print head while it is very hot.

(5) Make sure that there is not any dust or oil on the connector contact section A. If it
is found, wipe it off by alcohol. Good Luck ! I couldn't attach any pictures.

The problem your having is with the carriage assembly. You'll need to remove the ribbon and printhead. It's the black piece under them. Here's a link to a replacement part for $38.95.

3410 Oki printer

If your print fades in then out every 5-6 lines, your platen probably has flat spots on it. This can be caused when someone forget to perform an alignment on a PH.

To run a test page you can power off the printer. Hold down the LF key and power on at the same time, this will print a self test.

Okidata 3410 pacemark not printing correctly

Well, I had that problem once. What I did was that I used the printers cleaning tools. You can acces them by entering Printers in the ControlPanel. Then right click on your printer and select Settings. Look through there. Worked for me.
