What type of laptop HP , ASUS , COMPAQ , ACER ?..........
Up the Volume on My HP Laptop
Open the "Start" menu and click on the "Control Panel" icon.
Locate and open the icon that deals with sound.
Depending on your version of Windows, it will say either "Sounds and Audio Devices" or "Adjust System Volume."
Adjust the volume under the "Speakers" icon.
To do this, click on the slider bar and move it up on the slider.
If you need to decrease the volume, simply move the slider bar down.
Click on "OK" when finished and close the "Control Panel" window.
Click on the speaker icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen for a faster volume adjustment. Simply move the slider bar up to increase the volume and move it back down to decrease the volume.

Volume on an Acer Laptop
Acer laptops are typically sold with pre-installed Windows operating systems that offer sound-adjustment features for increasing the volume on the laptop's built-in stereo speakers.
These same functions can also be used in tandem with external speakers or headphones to increase the volume, as well as mute all sound on the laptop.
If the computer should output an unusually low volume, fixing the problem may be no more involved than sliding a control switch with the computer mouse. Click once on the speaker icon in the taskbar on the lower-right corner to open a rectangular window with a slide control.
Click and hold the left mouse button on the slide control to drag it upward, increasing the volume to the laptop's maximum setting.
Click the "Mixer" button below the slider control to open another window with volume controls for "Speakers" and "Applications," adjusting each slide control upward to increase the volume.
Be sure the speaker icon below each control is not accidentally muted.
Click once on each speaker icon to remove the red circle with a slash through it, which will restore audio.
Click the Microsoft flag or "Start" button in the lower-left corner if the shortcut speaker icon is missing from the taskbar.
Click "Control Panel" to select "Adjust Sounds" from the Hardware and Sounds category.

Panasonic RP HT711 headphones.

There could be a mismatch between the impedance of the headphones and the devices you plug into. In short, the Panasonic headphones may not be intended for the type of listening you are attempting

Dont know how to control the volume, i cannot find my manual

Most of the time their are multiple ways to do this.

1. On the speaker in the lower right hand corner left click and a volume bar appears. Slide it up and down. It should be adjust to 75% IMO.

2. On your keys there should be symbols that look like speakers that should match the color of you "fn" key. Press and hold the fn key and then press the corresponding speaker key to increase or decrease the volume.

3. There may be a rotary volume control on the front of the laptop case. It's as simple as turning it to increase or decrease it.

On the volume bar in windows verify that the muted in unchecked.

.cutting out and static

Hello!
I must inform you that most of the wireless headphones has an automatic shut-off which puts it in stand-by when there is no sound going in to it. Or if the sounds in your device is too quiet the headphones will think you have finished using it.

What you need to do is increase the volume setting of your device. And turn the volume control on the headphones down then as well - assuming that your headphone base unit is connected to the headphone socket of your device.

How to increse sound

Hi, there really isn't any way to increase the "Volume" of Laptop speakers, the "Maximum" sound that comes out the Speakers is it. Now there are (2) two things you can do to get better sound; any type of External Speakers that you would "plug" into the Computer [big or small, cheap or expensive], will "increase the sound." The next thing is buying "Headphones" even the "cheapest" headphones can deliver "great" sound, I suggest buying a (Brand Name: with a Bass Boost) of a sought. My hp dv2000 has audio in the headphones but not in the internal speakers

Have you perhaps turned the volume down using the external volume knob on the side or front of the machine? Have you tried the control panel -> audio devices settings to increase speaker volume for WAV devices?[heck, all devices...] Most machines use the same external knob for headphones and the tinny speakers, so that may be a fruitless chase, but give it a try anyway. You could also have a loose connection. Has anyone recently done work on the PC?
