Pull the dash bezel off, lower the sterring wheel, apply parking brake, lower gear shift to 1st - apply gentle pressure and MAKE SURE there are no screws by cup holder. You will see the stereo and how it is mounted. That either has small bolts 5/16 or 2 snap clips that you depress and pull forward. Just be gentle but firm and you will be fine. You will also need 2 antenna adaptors, just call any stereo shop and they can help you with that.

2000 chevy venture. How do I install a JVC stereo?

Check your local Walmart or Auto Parts store for the correct wiring kit to change your factory radio to a JVC...the kit is inexpensive and provides professional connections that are easy to trace...remove the face plate around your factory radio, and you will see 4 corner bolts that hold the radio in sure the antennae connections are the same size. Hope this helps.

How do you take out the factory radio in a 1992 Chevy suburban? trying to put in a new one, but taking out the old one is a HUGE issue!

No it's not. On the faceplate of the radio, there are 2-screws at the top of the plate. remove the screws and plate will comeout. You will see 2-nuts/bolts either on the side or at the top. Take them out. Pull radio back towards the seat to unveil the antenna wire and the 3-pluggins on the back of the radio. The antenna cable will pull out hard but pull it out, The blue, white and black plug-ins come out by pressing a flat tab on each one while pulling them out, Radio should slide out with ease,

99 chevy suburban. rear speakers not working.

if you have a wiring guide for your deck, take a look at it and see what your rear speaker + and -'s are, connect them accordingly to the wiring guide in the link and your speakers should work, if not, the wires running to the speakers are probably damaged. if thats the case, go to a dollar store and pick up some speaker wire, and run it under your panels, or carpet, what ever is easier for the particular make.

How do you remove the trim around the factory

Unfortunately it has been a few years since I've removed the dash in my sisters 95 century(same setup as yours)... but I came across something that should give you some decent pointers.

that is a link to a pdf, which, on Page 3 gives a basic text description of what you need to remove in order to get the dash trim off and gain access to the radio. If that link does not work, here's the link the page from which you can download the above mentioned file also...
