When using my D-Link-655 router, I can't access some Web sites, but I can access others. This applies to all computers on my network. I can, for example, access my work (company internal) websites and use...

Have you isolated the problem by directly plugging your computer directly to your modem, bypassing your router? If you have done this but still cannot browse some websites, then this is a DNS problem with your Internet Provider. Try using Open DNS, 208.67.220.220 as Primary and 208.67.222.222 as secondary. Then try to browse again. But if you have plugged directly to the modem and was able to access those websites, then there is a restriction on your router and you may need to press and hold the reset button to reset it back to factory defaults.

On facebook games ,i used to play any game i wanted but now only certain games load ,how do i fix this problem with such as farmville, ponzi inc

First, try to access your account in a different internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera) or different computer, if you can access the other games, then the problem could be the internet browser that you are using.

You need to try optimizing your internet browser. Here's how:

* For Internet Explorer version 6
1. Open IE6 > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click the Delete Cookies button and Delete History.
3. Click on OK > Close and re-open your IE6.
4. Try accessing your e-mail account.

* For Internet Explorer version 7
1. Open IE7 > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click the "Delete" button under the Browsing History option.
3. Delete the Cookies, Internet Files
4. Click on OK > Close and re-open IE7
5. Try accessing your e-mail account.

* For Mozilla FireFox
1. Open Firefox > Tools
2. Select "Clear Recent History"
3. Select Cookies, Cache, Browsing and Download History.
4. Close and re-open Firefox
5. Access your e-mail

Good luck!

This might help:
Disable Thumbnail Previews in Windows Vista Explorer If you want to speed up browsing around in explorer, you might think about disabling thumbnail previews in folders.
To make this change, click the Organize button on any folder, and choose Folder and Search Options from the menu.
image%7b0%7d%5b1%5d.png
Click the View tab, and then check the Always show icons, never thumbnails checkbox.
image%7b0%7d.png
Click OK, and you're done.

There are lots of people also pointing this problem to Divx, Nero and general codec packs but the problem starts when they start using a media player not windows explorer.

Give it a go and if it helps please rate me.

Cheers
