The Craftsman line trimmer and chainsaw I have uses a 40 - 1 ratio. For Mixing small amounts of gas, I use a 1 litre container and add 23.7 ml of 2 cycle oil to 1 litre gas.

Which oil do i use in a ryobi C4620 chainsaw?

Do NOT use lightweight motor oil for that bar! Use only bar/chain oil for it - nearly any brand will do just fine, but it needs to be bar/chain oil. Bar/chain oil is specially formulated to stay on the bar & chain in use - motor oil will fling away & your bar won't get the lubrication it needs.

For fuel mixing, use nearly any brand of 2-cycle oil, which is specially formulated to provide lubrication even when it's mixed into your fuel. Use about 3.2 ounces of 2-cycle oil per every gallon of gasoline - a little more won't hurt (it'll make the saw smoke a little), but never use less. Always shake the gas can just before you refill your saw's tank - shaking helps make sure the oil & gas are well-mixed.

I have a Homelite UT20702 trimmer, a 25 cc engine. What is the gas/oil mixture supposed to be. Lost manual.

Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix oil with gasoline according to the instructions on the package. If Premium Exact Mix oil is not available, use a high quality 2-cycle engine oil, mixed at 2.6 oz. per gallon (US). Do not use automotive oil or 2-cycle outboard oil
Here is link to owners manual too

What is the correct mixture for eb7000 blower? it ran perfect until i put in a mixture of all ratio oil mix ...one gallon of gas to one oil will run it all... now it boggs out and sputters then stalls...

50:1 is the correct mixture. Every company has an oil they would perfer you use. Namely, the one they make. I would imagine that if it ran perfect before you put that premix in there, the premix is your problem, assuming no one "borrowed" it and straight gassed it. It also sounds like once it gets warmed up, it begins to fail. I would do a compression test once it gets warmed up. Also, you could pull the spark plug, grab a flashlight, and see if you notice any scoring on the cylinder.
Here is a link for the manual, in case you lost yours.

I inherited a Sears 647G chainsaw, but no manual. It has separate tanks for the oil and gas. Do I put a mixture of oil and gas in the gas tank? The oil tank I think is just to oil the chain. Or does it mix...

I'm sure the separate oil tank is for the chain... you'll need to mix the gas with 2 cycle oil... typical ratio is 40:1 to 50:1...
Manuals are going to be real scarce... you may want to check with a local small engine repair shop to see if you can copy something they may have...

Just trying to find out what mixture of gas and oil i use in the Yard machine 21" Cut Bagger/Mulchar

Hi,

I think that the engines are Briggs & Stratton and don't need any oil mixing in with the gas. Complete access to the owners manuals is at http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/Public.do?BrandCode=10451

Unfortunately I don't have your model & Serial number so can't provide you with a definitive answer but it will certainly tell you in the manual

If this helps pls leave feedback, if not - let me know so I can try and help some more!

I guess he needs to know what kind of oil he needs also

you shouldn't need to mix oil with gas on a four cycle engine. this is for two strokes.

Lost the manual

It is a 2-cycle. You have to mix the fuel with 2-cycle oil.
