Question about Nokia 6080 Cellular Phone
My nokia 6080 fell into water, I quickly opened it, removed the battery and the card and dryied it with a hair dryer, but when I assembled it all and tryied to switch it on, I doesnt do anytihing, doesnt even switch on, I tried put the battery on other cellphone but it works on another phone, not in my-....
It is stuffed, if it falls into water then the second it falls in it will short, and probably blow some critical components inside, even if the phone is off then there is always power running through it (so it knows when you are pressing the button to turn it on, also so it can remember the time and date)

Place the phone after using a hair dryer over the board - after removal on some packages of chemicals that absorb moisture. Moisture-absorbing chemicals include silica gel, activated alumina, anhydrous calcium sulfate and molecular sieves. These chemicals can be difficult to find. Your best bet is to find an industrial chemical supplier or contact your local high school or college science department.
