It is stuffed, if it falls into water then the second it falls in it will short, and probably blow some critical components inside, even if the phone is off then there is always power running through it (so it knows when you are pressing the button to turn it on, also so it can remember the time and date)

My nokia e7 fell into water and won't turn on

Wet Cell Phone
Immediately remove the phone from the water, turn off the cell phone, remove the battery and SIM card. To dry out the cell phone put it in a large plastic bag with silica gel drying crystals then put it in a warm sunny place for several days or in front of a warm fan heater for several hours. Reassemble the phone and hope it will work properly again, but if does not work then it is faulty and you need a new cell phone.

Two days back my cell nokia E7 fell into water and was there in it for 5 minutes.Intially it started after a while when we kept in sun n made it dry but later on it got switched off and till now its not...

First: Do this before:
Remove the battery and sim
Then DRY it with warm air (hair dryer) for 5 to 10 minuetes or more
but keep the dryer far of the phone in case it becomes too hot and be damaged.
keep do this till it turns on
IF it doesnt work, Find A MOBILE REPAIR STORE.

My nokia 5030 fell in water ,i did not rfmove the battery overnight ,then in morning i could switch on diplayed nothing and could not switch off

Place the phone after using a hair dryer over the board - after removal on some packages of chemicals that absorb moisture. Moisture-absorbing chemicals include silica gel, activated alumina, anhydrous calcium sulfate and molecular sieves. These chemicals can be difficult to find. Your best bet is to find an industrial chemical supplier or contact your local high school or college science department.

My nokia 2690 cell fell in water and it will ask contact ser vice

Please remove the batter and SIM and use your hair dryer to blow out all the water from inside. DO NOT USE HEAT AS THAT MAY BURN THE ELECTRONICS. Use the hairdryer for a long time. It may still work.

Turn off the phone imediatly if its still on. open up the phone by taking off the covers and unscrewing them. bring a hair dryer and dry the board then when its completely dry, use a toothbrush to brush any resedue off of the board. then spray it with any type of alcohol product and brush it again with the toothbrush. cover the phone and turn it on.

Nokia N70 doesn't display anything?

You have to open it up to dry it up with a hair dryer , there is still water inside the phone. Do not turn it on until you have dry up all the water other wise you will damage the phone. Good luck

Phone fell in cooking oil

Isopropal alcahol will clean the electronics, but watchout for two things. Drugstor Isopropal contains a lot of water. The purer the better, but test it on the plastic, a touch in the corner of the screen to be shur it does not fog the display. Besure to remove the batteries first. I would dry it with compressed air rather than the hair dryer. A can of DUST OFF can be found at most computer shops,Radio Shack and Art supply houses. If all else fails, put it back in the oil(without battery), bring the oil gradually up to about 92 degrees, simmer for about 3 days. then add a few of your favorite spices and a couple of tablespoons of sugar since fried electronics tend to be a bit bitter. If you do not like it then send it to the recycling center
