Question about Dell W3706MC 37 in. LCD HDTV
I have a dell 32 inch lcd tv, and after a few minutes of the tv being on, the volume no longer responds. There is still sound, but cannont change it. Same for any other menu controls. Seems as if everything freezes once it "warms" up so to speek. But video and sound are fine. Just no control after a few...anyways, ayone know why it does this? and what could be done to fix it..and how much? thanks I have a problem with my 37" Dell lcd volume and power. As soon as it warms up you lose volume control. Turn it off, wait 5-10 minutes for it to turn back on, and it works until it heats up again. Nothing wrong with the speakers. In fact on the screen you will occasionally get numbers instead of the volume bar. Is there a solution? It's obvious Dell does not want to fix. There are too many layers to get their "award winning" service. Who gave them that rank anyway? We are at our wits end and need some advise. Can anyone recommend a solution? Do you think a TV repair place will be able to solve?
Your main board is not communicating with the tv. it may be on the breaks of going bad, or simply needs a firmware update. questions, email me
