Normal 0 Hi, You need to change the coils on the top of the gas valve. This is a very common problem with the newer gas dryers. We have them for $29.95 on out web site www.whilpoolpartssurplus.com
If I can assist you further on how to replace them, please let me know.

Thanks
Vic

My dryer starts, runs a few minutes, doesn't heat up and shuts itself off

check your sensors on the heater unit, there are two or more, simply us a meter and make sure power is on both sides of the sensor, if not then that specific sensor is bad and you should replace it, pull the sensor and tie the two wire together to see if it will heat, if it does replace the sensor they are cheap and will keep you from burning down the house

The heater coil is not getting hot. IT coulb be burned out or it could be a thermostat or thermal fuse that has failed.

Dryer timer won't shut off at end of cycle. Dryer runs, but no heat. It is a Whirlpool model number LGR4634JQ2.

Since you say that the dryer runs but have no heat, plus the timer won't shut off the odds are the timer is bad. The timer would tell the burner when to be on and when to shut down.

The machine does not heat. stops after few minuets and gives the error code F:09

if its a bosh then its famous the fault is a signal code sent to the heating element to shut of as the machine needs its filter cleaned out then you must bush the small red reset button on the back panal (removed) it will fire up again and work fine

Whirlpool LGR4634JQ2 no heat, tumbler spins, timer works

The control sends power over to the heat assemblyd28ae89.jpg742f281.jpgec7e68b.jpg1a010b4.jpgIf the ignitor is good and the flame sensor is good. The thermal limit is good AND the dryer works a little and quits then replace the solenoids. They get hot and fail with age. More here

Heat goes off after a min. in use. Whirlpool Model # LGR4634JQ2. Took apart back and cleaned exhaust.

if it's gas it could be that the pilot is not close enough to the gas sensor and when the drier is in motion the extra air motion shuts it off.
if its elect it could be that one of the fuses are not set shut both fuses down and turn them BOTH back on
Gas clean the elect pilot and be sure it is close to the sensor that looks like a little tube

Autodry cycle never stops

hi thanks for the question ther is a thermostat on the air duct at the back of the dryer it has 2 wires at ends and 2 wires in the middle smaller ones this thermostat opens to turn off heat and the small wires on this thermostat when the heats shuts off then power goes to the timer and not before if it shuts off on timed dry timer is ok i would vacuum the dryer make sure all the vent right to the outside is clean as air flow restriction can cause this problem thanks the appliance doc
