When you formatted it you also removed the default embedded players software. In the manual look up which player was incorporated into this player. All you should have formatted is the memory, now you will have reload the software for this equipmentand only an authorized Sony Service Center will be able to do that because that software is a patented one and you will not get it enywhere, even from the net.........sodeep

How do i transfer music files onto a sandisc to use in my car

This can depend on the 'head' of the stereo equipment. Chances are if the head has a usb input then it can run the music files in mp3 format. A quick check on the manufacturer's website will give you more information.

-Assuming it can run mp3, use a file browser to locate the music files on your computer
-Plug in and verify the computer recognizes the usb device "sandisc" (it will pop up with a name like F: drive, unless previously assigned a nickname)
-Copy and paste the files by highlighting them, right click and select copy from the context menu
-Open the usb device and right click, select paste to copy the files over to the usb
-Once the computer is finished, you can right click the usb device and select 'safely remove' or 'eject'
-Plug that puppy into your car and enjoy!

I have a jvc-x11 cd changer is it compatible with my sony MEX-BT39UW

No, it won't work. JVC changers work with JVC head units, Sony head units work with Sony changers. Even if the plugs are the same, it won't work.

MEX-BT5700U, no sound in speakers in CD source, tuner source OK.

What many people do on this model is connect the remotes wires improperly. Use the solid blue wire for the amp and the blue with white stripe for the connection to the car.

Not able to copy movies on Sony 8GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for PSP

Before you go throwing any old video file onto your PSP, make sure you have the following items:
  • The PSP. This is self-explanatory.
  • The .MP4 video files.
  • Video conversion software to convert non-MP4 files to MP4, the format the PSP reads.

Sony mex 2600.

The red wire needs to be conneted to an ekectrical system that is only on when the car is on. Try running a wire from the head unit into the fuse of a system that only works when the ignition is on. like the horn, turn signals, or cigarette lighter.
