Question about Samsung SGH-U700 Cellular Phone
Well if you are getting an unsupported file type than the game you are downloading is not suitable for your cell. But, if you do want games than go to google and do as follows: 1. in the search box type:"Free downloadable games for samsung SGH-U700" 2. click the search button 3. select a suitable option from the list 4. it will lead u to games suitable 4 your mobile 5. select any 1 of the games u want nd download it 6. better use a cable or a memory card to send the file. *this will do it if rather not take it to a mobile shop and get games installed from there

You have downloaded the game that is not supported by your mobile. Thats why you are receiving this message . For example : Certain games can work in java interface , some works under different interface . Check before downloading whether that game is supported by your model. Don't download any game from free website . They can damage your phone .
Hope this helps.

R u downloading and trying to install .jar files or anyother once.
Download some software from http://getjar.com and try to install and check it whether it works fine or not.

Go to "www.getjar.com". There are many softwares for individual phones.
But before downloading the software check that it is compatible with
your phone. To do this just select your phone from left-upper part of
How to install Java games on the Samsung L700 without any software or drivers
(I've done this on a pc with Windows XP and don't know how well it would go on any other OS)
In the phone Menu select 'Settings'
Then select 'Phone settings'
Then 'USB settings'
And choose 'Ask on connection'
Plug the Phone in to the PC with the USB cable
On the phone selct 'Media player'
On the PC wait until it detects the phone and select 'Open the device to view files'
Open the folder 'Phone'
You should see the folders: images, Other files, Sounds, Videos
Create a new folder and name it 'Games'
Put any game you want to install in that 'Games' folder
Two things need to made sure of when copying over the games.
Firstly make sure you have the *.jar and *.jad files for each game,
if you don't have the *.jad file, you can download a jad creator
pretty easily, just type it in Google. Secondly each game has
to be in it's own folder, if you just dump all the *.jar and *.jad files
directly into the 'Games' folder only the first game installed will work
Unplug the phone
Now on the phone dial the code: *#6984125*#
Select 'Internals' (Number 4)
It will ask for a master key it is: *#9072641*#
Select 'Storage settings' (Number 7)
Update Java DB (Number 2)
Turn the phone off
Turn it back on
The games should now be installed with no problems, I know it's bit
repetitive but this has worked the best for me.

1. U have a firmware that has locked java install, it's not that the apps are not susported it's just locked. The solution is easy, but needed a little of work first u need an java app like Bluetooth File Transfer or MiniCommander(i recommend it). Download it from net host it on a wap server and download it from the wap. after u will install it run the app if u have the jar file create a jad from MiniCommander File->create jad or use Jadmaker then copy the files to your filesystem folder go to admin menu *#6984125*#>Internals>*#9072641*#>Storage settings>Update Java DB and its done it's installed without installing new firmware ;)
