Question about Yahoo Mail

1 Answer

Access to my Yahoo Email

I think I am not understanding the basic functions of the email process.
Yahoo is my main Home page. It keeps going through a series of loops, sign on, and then it asks for my pass word again and it is a gamble if it actually takes. Once I get to the email screen I should be good to go but it takes me back to the sign in page. I might go through this about 10 times and after15 minutes of this foolishness it allows me to read my emails. Once I sign out and try to access my other yahoo accounts it does the same thing again. I think I need to clean up this part of my computer because it must have too many sign on pages and it is running in different directions.

How can I access my emails on this computer, which is not my own PC?

1. You have an email provider whether it be the Telco providing your usual net service or some other company like Yahoo etc.

2. You go to the net page of whatever company provides the email service for you and log in where provided with your email address and password (as required)and then you can access the emails. For example if it is a Yahoo email account go to the yahoo main page for your country and log into the mail access. The same with Hotmail or whatever the other provider is.

You keep on wanting me to change my password. don't want to leave it alone.unlock my email

Charles, We are not Yahoo. You could have seen that on top of the screen where the URL says and not Yahoo.

To solve your problem you should have contact with Yahoo. Please try to understand this: lots of people try to hack computers and use mail accounts for illegal things. thats why Yahoo ants to be sure you are the one who did setup the account in the first place.

Sending them messages won't help, because no one will read them.

Use the support page and click can't access my account and follow their lead. Go here:

Signed for account, why yahoo now? not getting mails. creates a new Yahoo account for you when you sign up for their service. You now have a Yahoo account that can be accessed with the as the user and whatever your ATT pass is.

It is possible to merge the new account with the old account:

The article states that you can only merge only during the registration process, but I believe this to be false.

I no longer have ATT, but there was an option to merge a Yahoo account while managing your ATT information (I belive this is accessible from your ATT home page). ATT should be able to assist you with that regardless of whether you merged during the registration process or not.
