Question about Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959K Top Load Washer
I have the Calypso model and with about 4 minutes left in the cycle, I get the dreaded "LD" error code.
I cleaned out the hoses AND replaced the pump/motor assembly to the new improved model.
I still get the same "LD" error message.
To the best of my knowledge, I think the water sensor is now faulty and it doesn't recognize that the water is removed. Am I on the right track, or is this still an issue with the pump/motor???
Thanks for your help.
Hi replace the hall sensor... this will remove ur LD error code...

means long drain and is displayed when it takes longer than 5 minutes to pump
out the water to a point where the pressure switch resets. To solve this
problem make sure that the drain filter pump assembly located inside the bottom
front panel is clean and after cleaning if the error returns then the pressure
switch needs to be tested and if bad then it needs replacement. Please get back
to me if you have any other questions.
