Question about Electrolux EWED65H Dryer
Dryer was a floor model annd just stays in demo mode
To deactivate the demo mode:
Turn cycle knob to last cycle on right. Press start to save cycle position.
Press cancel to turn machine off.
Within 10 seconds, wake unit by pressing start once, immediately press and hold cancel and right most key under the display together for a minimum 6 seconds.
“DEMO MODE” will no longer be shown in the display.

I had the same problem with my Electrolux IQ Touch:
Turn the selector knob to TIME DRY, press START then CANCEL.
Wake the dryer up by pressing any button then IMMEDIATELY AND SIMULTANEOUSLY, press and hold the CANCEL and CTRL LOCK buttons for five seconds. Demo mode should not be blinking. Turn knob to the selection you want and press start.

Follow directions in Solution #2, noting that the button under the display to press and hold along with the Cancel button is the right-most button NOT INCLUDING the up-down menu button. So it would be the 3rd button from the left side of the display, or the button immediately to the left of the up-down arrow button under the right side of the display. Other than finding the correct button pair, Solution #2 cancelled the demo mode. Wife is happy again :)

It didn't work for me. It's brand new but still stock in Demo mode.

Good Morning Rolf, thanks for your post!
Based off the information you have provided your Electrolux wall oven/microwave combination is stuck in demo mode. The best way to remove demo mode from your wall oven/microwave combo is to hold the oven light button and the on/off keys at the same time and you should be able to toggle in and out of demo mode. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

Hello - If the unit was in demo mode it would not produce any water or rinse actions. So if you have water entering the unit, I doubt it is at all in demo mode. Error E01 for Electrolux models means the unit has detected a water leak. This will need to be checked and a repair performed by a technician since they will need to repair the leak and retest unit.
