-   i have the same problem i put in a music cd and a dvd movie i have and they wont wont read. the light turns on and then turns off and wont burn aswell

i cleaned the lens and it didnt work. then i bought a new burner and it still doesnt work.

im wondering if its the cables, motherboard or needs to be "flashed" not sure what that means though

can anyone help?
