A bad camera sensor called a CCD or charge coupled device is the electronic part that takes the picture. They are susceptible to damage caused by heat and moisture and will quit working. Follow this link for Canon support. If the CCD is bad the repair is free.

Hi have a hitachi c29-f100, how do I reset it

I'm not sure about what preset option you are asking for. If it is to reset the parentia passcode reset; key in '7777' will reset the set to its factory preset code '0000'. You can reset the passcode afterwards. If you wish to picture, sound etc; to return them to factory preset, select each window, hilight the reset option and pres enter. This will reset the that window settiing to its factory preset. OK.

simply insert a windows install disc into the laptop and restart it. you should get a prompt telling you an operating system disc has been detected, and how you wish to proceed. you can either attempt to fix with a the repair tool, or reinstall windows.

My daughter recently enabled the password that she entered when she set up the EEEPC over a month ago. Unfortunately she doesn't remember what that password was! Now it boots no farther than the enter...

try F2 you didnt say whether it was set in the bios or in the initial configuration pages.
However a F9 whilst booting takes you to restore the factory settings(every other boot) goto restore factory settings--press "E"-- choose restore image--press "B"-- then try to reconfigure the first few pages of the initialising programs, date, time, location etc.
