Can you hear other music? If yes, can you listed to recordings on your computer?

First save the recording to your pc as MP3, then you put them on the iPod

There is no 16 gig ipod nano

This is a phone system phone. If you can record conversations it would be a feature of your voice mail on the system (the phone itself cannot do this). If it all worked, you should have the recording in your voice mail box. It may be in with recorded messages or there could be a separate location. Example: Press 1 to hear your messages, press 2 to hear your recordings, press 3 to change your password, etc...
