First thing is to make sure the remote is bad, using ur cell phone in camera mode point the remote at the camers of your cell phone while pushing a button, it you see the infred light from the remote then the remote is functional. You may have a bad IR receiver in the television instead. If the remote is bad then try the remoteguy.com for a new or used one
