When you have bunching on the bottom, you have a problem with the top thread: no tension. (and visa versa) Make sure the thread runs through the tension discs, these discs are activated when you put the presser foot down, so you want to thread the machine with the foot up, also feel if there no burrs, hooks, or whatever, so your top thread comes smooth off the spool, no jerking.

Why is my thread always doing birdnest and going oround my feeder and breaking my needle

It sounds like you do not have it threaded right, completely rethread it and make sure that you have a fresh needle in the machine. Reread your manual, I am sure that something is wrong in the top threading. If, you misplaced your manual go to singerco.com and download it for free.

Just bought s Singer 1725. Tried a straight stitch. The thread keeps bunching up under the fabric and around the bobbin shuttle. How can this be corrected?

"Birdnesting" occurs when there is no tension on the needle thread to pull the bobbin thread. This is easily corrected by rethreading the machine, following the threading path carefully and making sure the thread is fully engaged in the tension mechanism.

I have a singer-inspiration machine and it appears that the thread keeps getting caught up in the bobbin area so my thread birdnests. I am new to sewing and this is a new machine.

The thread keeps breakijng when I am embroidering

It could just be that your needle is blunt and you need to put a new one in. It is amazing how many different problems a blunt needle can cause. Hope its sorted now.
