Hi, is this electric or gas? Please get me model@ so that I can help you through this.
Thanks
Vic
Ok. There is a small cover on the lower front panel. Remove it and start the dryer. If the ignitor glows and turns off before there is a flame, you need to replace the coils on the gas valve.
If the ignitor does not glow, follow these instructions:
UNPLUG the dryer! Remove the rear panel of the dryer and locate the fuse. It is white and ¼” wide and 3” long. It is located on the blower housing. Remove the wires and check to see if it has continuity. If it does not, you need to replace it. If the fuse checks out ok, please let me know and I can instruct you on how to test the ignitor.
Please let me know if this help or if I can assist you further.
Thanks
Vic

It is a gas dryer. I turns and blows but it will not get hot.
It is a Kenmore Dryer. Model # 110 72202101. It is 4 years old. I was trying to see if it has a pilot light that needs to be lit or if o had to by a heater cord or what. Thanks a lot for your help.
Thank You!
The ignitor maybe out. just like vic says we need a model and manufacture. you can find the nameplate when you open the door. it should be on the door inside
