Paper feed jamming

Cannon mx310 printer paper feed problem. Every time I try to print or make a copy the blank paper gets pulled in at an angle and jams (if I am facing the machine the paper gets pulled to the left). I have made sure there is no paper stuck in it. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I performed a roller cleaning and that stopped it from pulling it in at an angle but now it pulls it down about a 1/2 inch like its going to start printing but then says no paper and to load paper.

Try this: Tools needed: Flashlight, decently long skinny screwdriver, & possibly a knife or tweezers to drag out small paper remnants.
1> Open the main access area, where you would usually replace cartridges, etc.
2> Look for the large white gear all the way to the back left to rotate the feed roller, and remove any remnants on the roller, (The grey, sandpapery thing), and any other places visible. (They may already be gone, BUT!)
3> You aren't done yet!
4> Put the top back down.
5> If you haven't already, take your blank paper out of the feed slot.
6> Use your flashlight to look down the slot where your blank paper was.
7> Look all the way to the right, where the bottom of your paper feeds in. Find the last WHITE thing in that slot: it is nearly at the end. This is probably flush with the rest of the bottom of the feed.
8> Use your skinny screwdriver to push it down. You should hear and see it to click back down and stay there, lower than everything else. You just re-engaged your roller.
9> If you haven't already, unplug, wait a few secs, and replug your printer.
10> Now try to get your printer to go, by doing a Menu/Maintenance/Roller Cleaning, and or printing a page.
11> You may get a paper jam error a couple of times after this, but be persistent: after a few times, you should see it start to feed like it should.
This worked for me at least. Hope it helps you as well!
*8 part B> (In addition, if these instructions do not work on first try, also try pushing the very tiny upper of two black buttons just to the left of the aforementioned white one and give it another go, but try without doing this first).

We must feed curved paper to our printer. To avoid paper jam let the paper be straight and dry... thanks

My cannon IP1900 printer cannot print, it says paper jam, orange light blinks. I need assistance

Dear Sir,

i am giving u step to solve your problem,

Step 1 Turn your printer off and on to see if it can take out some or all of the jam automatically. If not, turn off the printer and go to the next step.
Step 2 Inspect where the printed paper stops. If the stuck paper is visible and on its way out of the device, try to manually remove it. If you can not pull the rest out easily, then refer to the next steps.
Step 3 Remove any paper trays. Check if any wrinkled or damaged paper is still stuck in the printer. If so, remove any other appliances you can (toner or ink cartridge if necessary) and look for the paper shreds. Make sure nothing has been left in this device.
Step 4 Tidy your blank papers, turn the printer back on and try it again. If the paper jam massage still appears, repeat the above steps. If no paper stuck in your device but the error still persists, well then it’s likely your printer is experiencing another hardware issue: maybe the rollers or some other part need to be adjusted or replaced. Check the printer manual and the manufacturer’s website for directions, or contact your support line for additional assistance.
Things you should take care when manually removing paper
l You should be careful, especially for a laser printer – laser printers can get hot.
l Do not remove your jammed paper from where the blank paper enters the printer, or your device might be damaged easily.
l If you find a piece of jammed paper, pull it out with both your hands carefully so as to keep the paper from tearing. If several sheets of paper jammed together, try to loose the jam by pulling out the middle one first.
l If the paper does tear, you may need to manually rotate the gears that feed the paper through the printer to free the shreds. Don’t force anything.

Thanks For Your Time,

Canon MX310 keeps not printing and message comes up paper jam sometimes nothing happens sometimes startes to take paper then stops sometimes just feeds through without printing , there seems to be no real...

Have you ever tried printing sticky labels in the thing? You have to be careful with those because sometimes a piece will come off and stick in the corner of your printer. If you don't have long surgical tweezers to pull it out, you could be looking at an expensive repair. Also check your manual. There are two places the paper can jam in. You might have checked only one. I have a different Canon model but on mine I also have to make sure the correct light is on. Is the light for feeding from the back on, or the light from feeding on the front? If you have the same light, press it again to change the place where it will feed from.

Make sure your paper isn't curled or that you're using paper that's too thick also.

Can't answer more because I don't know what program you are using to try to print.

Extra paper feeds and jams after each print. One copy prints and then the printer drags the next sheet down halfway and jams.

The feeder assembly is not timed right, it happens when you pull out a jam. It may have a broken spindle or gear, I would take it to a shop to figure out.

Paper going thru at an angle and jamming

Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Print out blank pages after clearing a paper jam

Have you checked the obvious things? Such as pulling the tape off the new cartridge? Also make sure the transfer roller under the toner cart. is in securely.
