Question about Logitech X-530 Computer Speakers
I have everything hooked up right, the front 2 speakers and the woofer work fine, but no sound out of the others. i know this problem has already been solved but I dont think its the same. I have a laptop with an external soundcard that should be able to support the surround sound. its a creative sound blaster. when i take a back speaker and plug it into one of the spots for a front speaker i get music, so the speakers and functional.
Normal stereo sound its not 5.1 if your hearing music its stereo and not in 5.1 channels, you need to activate the Creative Sound EAX sorround mix, check on the EAX console, there you can simulate 5.1 or clone the 2.1 channels to the rear speakers, i like more the simulation works better... simply sends some freqz to the rear speakers

To make the logitech x-530 work with all speakers you must have at least a 6 channel sound card, will work with 7 and 8 channel too
