have your power supply checked, it might not have enough voltage to power up your horizontal deflection circuits. hope this help, thanks for using fixya!

the internal bulbs have deteriorated...the manufacturers are real smart, these monitors dont last forever. So if repair estimate is too expensive then replace the whole unit.
