Question about Balboa Instruments Duplex Digital Panel 2 Pump

Open Question

Coleman 630/632 syst. wiring dia, 1 pump cycles on/off non prog

Ok, the spa overflowed, every thing got wet, when you power up one pump cycles on/off constantly, producing a clicking noise from transformer ? or black elect part. The systm crontrol panel flashes the program routine but does not program. You can turn on/off second pump, but cannot set heat, time, or program, nor stop 1 pump manualy with syst control pannel from cycling on /off. pannel does not turn light on or off. I have a blow dryer trying to dry it out. Previously, the spa would over heat and turn it self off.

SOURCE: hi have problem with canadian spa

OHS, OH, or SPA TEMP LMT Message There is an "Over Heated Spa" (OHS or OH) Water Condition.

One of the Water Temp Sensors has detected 110°F (43.3°C) Incoming Water Temp and Spa Functions are Disabled. System will Auto Reset when Water Temp is below 108°F (42.2°C). Check for Extended Pump Operation or High Ambient Temp, or contact your Dealer or Service Organization.

Spa Water Cool Down
• In order for the Spa Water Overheat Error Message to Automatically Reset and Clear, the Spa Water Must Cool to below 108°F (42.2°C).
• Check the Topside Panel Display to see if the "OHS", "OH", or "SPA TEMP LMT" Spa Water Overheat Error Message has Cleared. If the Error Message has Not Cleared, the Spa Water is still too Hot to Continue Testing.
• Either Wait for the Spa Water to Cool Below 108°F (42.2°C), or Exit Now and Retest at a Later time.

SOURCE: I have a Balboa Instrument

This is most likely a heater issue. The technician needs todisconnect both heater leads to see if the breaker will hold. This will help you determine where theelectrical problem is occurring and why it is tripping.

Understand that this information isbeing provided as-is and without warranty or guarantee. As with allelectrical components and devices, all work should be performed by a licensedspa or pool technician. Serious injury or death can occur if a component isimproperly repaired or installed. This soundslike it could be an issue with the board but there is some testing that needsto be done to determine the actual cause. A spa technician will be required tocome out and verify the wiring to the pump and then typically start testingvoltages off of the board as the unit switches between the relays that controlthe speeds on the pump. My coleman eletric fireplace does not work, the fan works but blows cold air instead of hot, what do I do?

There is a fuse located over the heating element in front of the fan. It sits over a small slot above the heating element (probably to cause it to stop working by design). Yes I'm a pessimist. It can be bypassed if it is an emergency by wiring across it. I'm trying to find the replacement fuse now (10amp jet 250v #00575) If you find it please send info to warfalcon23@Gmail.com. I hope we all get our heaters working, for $250 + dollars you'd expect it to last longer than 1 month.

What type of oil goes in the pump, and is the tube that comes out of it on the top of the pump supposed to be open or a covered vent??

Hello
10W30 is OK but it must be NON DETERGENT. Be sure you only fill the reservoir 1/3 to 1/2 full. Thee should be a cap on top.

I have a coleman spa about 4 years old that is leaking, should this be repaired by a plumber or would it take a spa repair person. it is a 6 to 7 person tub coleman horizion

this has to do with where the water is coming from.
1. wall fittitng. just remove it, reseal and replace
2. pump leaking, usually means shaft seal.
3. plumbing fitting. usually just replace the fitting.
4. fiberglass cracked. get a boat repair man and have him fix it. these guys are usually pretty good.

F9=Overflow Condition
If the Overflow contact on the pressure switch is Closed for more than 60 seconds and Overflow condition will occur. In an Overflow condition, the Door will remain locked, and the Drain Pump will run constantly, even if PAUSE/CANCEL is pressed twice and the Display is cleared. Unplug the unit to service.

Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or inked.

Check Wire Harness connectors to the Drain Pump, Pressure Switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU)

Check/Clean Drain Pump Filter of foreign objects

Check for Drain Pump Failure

Check the Inlet Valve for proper shut off

Check the Pressure switch for proper operation
