when i set a contact, the number saves to all my contacts i already set. Same problem with my daughter's phone-- adding a new contact to the phonebook changes the phone number of every contact to the new phone number.

1) Turn off the phone. 2) Remove the battery. 3) Wait a bit (less than a minute) to let the phone go completely dead. 4) Put the battery back in and turn on the phone.
The numbers you put in before will be correct.  They have not been overwritten in the directory; they just weren't displaying correctly.
