Question about Westinghouse LTV-32w3 HD Television
I turned on my westinghouse LTV-32w3 HD this afternoon after a morning of watching it, as in it worked fine this morning, and the picture is frozen on the HDMI input. I can hear sound but the picture doesn't move. Also, with this problem there is another. The only buttons that respond on the side of the Tv is the power button, as well as on the controller. I can't change input sources, I can't adjust the volume, nor can I mess with the menu, nothing!!
Try unplugging the TV for about 30 minutes to an hour (reset TV) to see if this fixes your issue. If it does not, leave the TV unplugged all night and see if it will operate normally. Hope this helps.

The LCD controller is bad, after about on for 30 minutes, see sample here: http://s807.photobucket.com/albums/yy352/budm/LTV-32W3HD/
Notee: my pix show the board with the cover removed. You can run the TV with the back open and have s small fan blowing in the back to keep it cool.
You need new LCD controller (there are more than one version, you need to match with the LCD panel): http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/index/?q=ltv-32w3hd&stock=all

The "lvds" cable which is connected to the lcd controller board is taped to the backlight housing and is transmitting interference to the controller board. Remove the tape and pull the cable away from the backlight housing slightly. You will have to remove the mainboard to do this since it is underneath it. Do not touch the power supply or power supply connectors (dangerous high voltage).
