Question about Sony KV-32V16 TV
I have a KV-32V16 since 1996.....service was great. Since I live in the lightning capital of the world, I shut the TV off every night and shut the spike protectors switch off as well; cutting all power. In the morning, as usual, I turn the power strip (spike protector) on and then the TV..... then nothing. Absolutly no responce. I checked the power cord and the fuse... they check good... with no burn smell in the cabinet. Can you help point the way to what might be the cause.
Loss of low voltage supply has happened. This regulates the ability of the set to sense the remote as well as the front panel switches. Could be anything from open T1 secondary to a regulation problem; i.e. excess drop from defective component....accordianman
