Usually the ballast is bad when that happens. Replace with exact replacement.

My neff oven light keeps blowing. New one lasts about 2 weeks. Has happened twice

Hi Clayton

The replacement oven bulbs are special high temperature (300 degrees C) capable bulbs. Please confirm that you are fitting the correct high temperature replacement. You probably are fitting these, but I mention it as other standard miniature Edison Screw (MES) bulbs will fit, but fail pretty soon) If the correct high temperature type is being fitted, check that the power (Wattage) is correct for the lamp housing. If it is too high, say 40 Watts instead of say 25 Watts, it may run too hot and give the short life you are experiencing.

If everything is correct and the replacement is equivalent to the original one, then it might just be that the bulbs have been roughly treated by the retailer, transit etc. These bulbs are conventional filament lamps and are very delicate and prone to early failure or malfunction when exposed to vibration. I recently sent away for a replacement that arrived by mail and although very well packed, it succumbed to death through vibration. I now have to pay the often higher price at retailers as these bulbs are likely to fail when mailed to your home and purchase on the Internet may not be an option.

2004 jeep grand cherokee laredo keeps blowing the fuse for the parking lights and taillights

If it "keeps" lowing the fuse, there can be only one reason for it...you "keep" replacing the fuse without diagnosing the circuits to find out WHY the fuse is blowing in the first place.
When a fuse blows, there is a reason for it. If you do not find the reason and correct it, the fuse will continue to blow.

Please also review this article: Where's The Fuse?

With all of that said, the first thing I would check is all of the light bulbs. Sometimes the bulbs get really hot and melt inside and it causes the metal contacts in the bulbs to touch each other and short the circuit out. This is especially true if you can replace the fuse and everything seems to work ok for a while. They will all work until the offending bulb gets hot and "POOF" there goes the fuse again.

This condition can be hard to diagnose since the short circuit usually goes away as soon as the bulb cools off for a few seconds. In cases like this, what I usually recommend to save time and money is to replace all of the bulbs.

If it is fuse #6 (15 Amp) in the Central Junction Block that keeps blowing, it only powers the tail lamps, licence plate lamps, front park lamps and the front side marker lamps. The cost of replacing all of these bulbs is a LOT cheaper than an hour of diagnostic time at most shops. If this does not fix the problem, then you will have to trace all of the wires going to all of these bulbs to find out which one is shorting and where it is shorting. This could turn out to be very time-consuming and expensive, but at least, you will have eliminated the likelyhood that it is caused by a bulb.

I have no brake lights an my 1998 Chevy Venture Van everytime I put a fuse in it blows soon as I hit the brake pedal

You most deffinatly have a dead short, thank god for fuses. You will need to chase all realated wires , look for a bare spot in a wire thats touching something metal. Good luck

I turned the lights on the high setting for a couple of hours, and the bulb just blew out. I then touched the top of the hood and it was very hot. Should a bulb blow out for no reason? I am worried that...

Check the documentation and make sure the wattage on the light bulb does not exceed what is recommended. For instance: Mine says no more than 75 watts incandescent light bulb.

How do i reset the lamp hours on viewsonic pj503d i cant afford another bulb right now and i know theres a way to reset it just trying to buy some time untill i can afford one thanks alot

Though you can reset timer in the info menu it is unwise to do so as the bulbs can explode if they go past there usage time and can cause damage to projector.
Have a look on ebay there are a lot of bulbs on there maybe you can find a cheap one.

How do you replace the light bulbs? There is a lens cover over the bulb.

This is how to replace the lights on the KitchenAid khlu162m hood. If this is not you hood please give the right make and model # so I can get you the right info.

Replacing the Halogen
lamps:
The hood liner uses 12-volt, 20
watt halogen lamp bulbs.
Before you begin, make sure that
the range hood is turned off and
that the lamps have had sufficient
time to cool.
To replace a halogen lamp:
• Remove 2 screws from the
circular metal trim around the
lamp assembly.
• Pull the trim with the lamp
assembly attached down far
enough so that the lamp can be
pushed out of the socket clips.
• Insert the new lamp into the
socket clips and push the lamp
and trim assembly back up into
the hood.
• Replace the screws.

Good Luck and please rate 4 thumbs up for the free answer.

The right ''driving'' lamp burned out. How do I replace it?

LOOK INSIDE THE ENGINE BAY BEHIND THE HEADLIGHT, THERE IS MOST PROBABLY A RUBBER COVER WITH THE LIGHT WIRES GOING INTO IT, THERE WILL BE A PLASTIC PLUG WHICH THOSE WIRES CONNECT TO AND THE PLUG THEN IS CONNECTED TO THE HALOGEN LIGHT BULB.
REMOVE THE PLUG AND THE RUBBER COVER WHICH WILL EXPOSE THE REAR OF THE LIGHT, YOU MAY NOTICE THE 3 PRONGS AT THE REAR OF THE HALOGEN BULB, THERE ARE 2 SPRING TYPE WIRES THAT YOU HAVE TO PRESS DOWN AND PULL TOWARDS THE CENTRE TO ALLOW IT TO BE REMOVED, ONCE THEY ARE LOOSENED YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO REMOVE THE BULB AND REPLACE IT WITH THE NEW ONE BUT DO NOT TOUCH THE NEW BULB WITH YOUR FINGERS AS THE BULB MAY BLOW WHEN YOU TURN THE LIGHTS ON
CHECK THE WATTS ON THE SIDE OF THE OLD BULB AND MAKE SURE THE NEW BULB HAS THE SAME WATTS
REPLACE IN REVERSE ORDER TO REMOVAL

Dead lamp

The sensor is located on or near the lamp compartment on the back side. If your lamp keeps blowing it may be the lamp cooling fan not working. However are you sure the lamp is blowing? Press menu and device on the front control panel both in together for 5 seconds and see if the led blinks a two digit code, then let me know the code. Please respond to this same post.

check to make sure your lamp is completely in and connected properly, and the lamp door is closed completely, if still no light, pull the lamp out and make sure it is not broken from transporting it or handeling it.

Making sure you do not touch and glass portion of the lamp or surroundings. only touch plastic or "metal using clean dry paper towel for metal contact" as skin oil can destroy a lamp.

"If this dosen't help please reply for more help before marking a bad suggestion, thanks"
