PC and MP3 can connect, but can't communicate!

With my MP3 player, it's like the computer can't read or do anything with the MP3 player, even though it says it's connected fine. I can't add or delete files, and Windows says it cannot complete format. Hidden folders are showing. Tried drag and dropping, tried windows media player 11. It shows the existing files, will go through the motions of syncing, but it doesn't actually add to the MP3 player. It also will not delete any songs. Why can't the PC and MP3 player communicate??

Try changing the mode on the device.

Settings>Mode or USB, then try your transfer again.

If that doesnt work, try formatting the device thru Computer management.

Best of Luck.

How i Regord music from cd-pleyer

When you want to record music on your MP3 player, you have to use a computer in between.
Use the sound card in the computer, to connect the CD player, or even better, put a CD in the CD / DVD player / burner of the PC. Then you need a program to extract the music from the CD to the PC in MP3 format. You can download the program for free here:
Audacity Free Audio Editor and Recorder
Once the music is on the PC you can add it to your MP3 player, by connecting the player.
Before you connect a MP3 player, you have to install a program so it can communicate with the computer. The software should be on a disk that came with the MP3 player, or you can download it from the website the MP3 players manufacturer.

My coby mp touch isnt connecting to my pc

Turn on MP3 player
Go to Setup > System > USB MODE
Put the USB MODE to MSC
Reconnect to the computer
Your computer should then recognize the MP3 player.

My ipod won't work with my computer.

Probably you might need to reinstall the ipod drivers using the installation manual carefully following the guides and steps.

Also check your manual for the hardware and operating system requirements if it matches your computer spec.

But if you're sure the installation was properly done then make sure the ipod suite (PC SUITE) is installed.

Lastly plug in the ipod into other USB ports to ascertain if the USB ports on your PC is faulty.

When you put songs on your mp3 player don't put them in folders if you do.

Also did your mp3 player come with any software, you may need to use the software in order to put songs on.

When you've finished putting songs on do your safely remove your mp3 player from the computer, if not that could be your problem.

Also it could be anything from a small read error, try formating your mp3 player which may fix this problem to do so follow these steps below:

First connect your mp3 player to the computer, once you've done that go to "Start" - "My Computer" - now look for something called "Removable Disk" which is your mp3 player, once you've found it "Right-click" on it then click "Format", once format as complete put music back on your mp3 player, then see if the problems been fixed.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful in some way. Further problems, leave a comment on here and i will get back to you a.s.a.p.
