Unable to print on printer Dell 926 -test page prints ok

Test page prints ok but unable to print from word, excel or email- printer sounds as if printing but blank-have tried uninstalling and re-installing but same problem

Although the black ink cartridges showed sufficient ink, it was actually empty - I discovered this when I changed the font color from black to red and the prints were fine.

Hi there,

  • Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
  • Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
  • restart the computer
  • try to download drivers from the website
  • after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
  • then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

How to Align a Printer Cartridge for a Dell Photo AIO 926Printers capable of producing high quality graphics and photos, like the Dell Photo All-In-One 926 printer, must have their cartridges properly aligned for best results. Typically you only need to align your printer's ink cartridges immediately after replacement. However, if documents show signs of uneven lines the cartridges being out of alignment. After aligning the cartridges print a test page to check print Instructions 1 Load printer paper into the Dell Photo 926 printer 2 Click on the start menu icon, on your computer, with your left mouse button. Left click on "Control Panel." Left click on "Hardware" and then left click on "Printers and Devices." 3 Locate and double left click on the icon for the Dell Photo 926 printer. The printer control window will open. Double left click on the "Adjust Print Options" button. 4 Click on the "Services" tab in the printer's window menu bar. Double left click on the "Align Print Cartridges" button." Left click on "align." Wait for the "Parameter" page to print. 5 Compare the figures on printed parameter page to current settings in the "Align Print Cartridges" window that has popped up on the computer. If the figures on the printed page correspond to the figures displayed in the window the cartridges are in alignment. If the figures on the page do not correspond with the figures in the window you need to set new parameters. I have dell 926 all in 1 printer,a dell inspiron1525 laptop i have uninstall/install the drivers from dell 3 times,print jobs Que but not print via laptop,not even a test page


Hi

Did you use the printer before that is connected to your laptop and prints fine or you are setting up the printer but unable to set up?

Before that check that all the cable connection are connected. Remove and connect it again, then when setting up the printer, check if it is reconized by your laptop by adding and setting up the printer once more.

Check also the printer's compatibility with the operating system? and install the correct driver?

Check also the USB cable and make sure you are using a USB cable port?

Have trouble with printer, printing the test page over and over and can't print nothing else.


Please,
Set back your printer manually from control panel then test again your printer. Re install the printer driver if necessary

I have a Dell 926 with Error code of 1203 and unable to print


It's mean your catridges overflow even from brand new catridges after a several prints or right after you refilled the catridges. Check to see if ink are smeared on the holder where the contact panel with the catridge. I have the same problem which I think lexmark have a proble and overlook.

Solution:
I use the klennex with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contact on the holder and my printer work again.
The refill ink work very well if you let it sit 24 hrs. Then before you print anything, you should run aligned the catridges a couple times then run clean catridges a couple times.
Print the test page to see how it's look and way you go.
Be sure not to leave any debris of klennex on those holder contact panel.

my printer hp psc1315xi all in one printer copier, scanner will not print any documents, not even a test print, there is also a doucument in it that am not able to delet from the printer
