Question about Toshiba Satellite P25-S607 Notebook
WILL NOT START UP BY D/C ONLY WITH A CHARGE BATTERY
I suspect that whoever replaced the DC jack didn't repair all the problem and the power doesn't get onto the motherboard. It's pretty easy to damage circuit traces when trying to replace the jack, or to overlook other damage caused by the jack going bad. You'll need to take the computer back to whoever worked on it and have it checked over again. I hope they provide some kind of warranty for their work.
