If your problem is slow start up, it sounds like pwr sply.There are no svc bulletins concerning anything similar. Pwr sply provides 24/12 and 5volts to main bd. Could be bad filters in area with improper voltage.bob bjtv

I do have the service manual [repair manual], and user manual. I've both with me. But if I could send it to you, you have to purchase one amoung my LG services advertised by Fixya. I can't sedn it to you without their permission. OK.

The fault is with internal circuit board itself. Without its schematic and service manual, it will be very difficult to follow. Even a technician wishes to repair this set, he also need its service manual. Being a combo, the circuit will look somewhat complicated. But in the service manual, all are well described. OK.

That just sounds like you are watching a 480 source. Try an HDMI or Component 720/1080 source. The lines should go away. Also, most tvs have a stretch function for 480. Look for an aspect ratio button on your remote.

On your TV adjust tint? Or avoid RGB cable use component video and stereo cables.

dvd mechanism needs to be replaced. LG is a good brand.
