if its not an official xbox card you will have to connect to xbox live to update your 360. if you dont have xbox live you can go to the website and download the updates. you will have to burn it on to a cd-r
You just need to type Numark Hdx in your search engine or on numark's website, and they have the download for the firmware update. Download and burn to disk. Turn on your deck holding the eject button until it ask for you to insert the disk you burned. Go thru the prompts and let it install firmware *NOTE DO NOT TURN OFF DECK* or you will ruin it.
Some game are compatible with the new xbox 360. They are called backwards compatible and you do need to flash upgrade the OS on the new xbox 360 system.
You need to go to the xbox website and go to support and download the flash update then burn it to disk and put it on the xbox to update the software. Again not all old games are compatible with the new xbox system. If your buying used games like I do make sure it says bc next to the title before buying them.
Here is the link to the upgrade
what you need to do is go on a computer, and go to this link... when you get to this website... scroll down to where it says : Burn a DVD or CD... and you can download the files to a disc then follow the directions and you can then put the disc in your xbox 360 and it will download the updates... it's pretty self explanatory once you read it. Oh yeah... the link is : http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/xbox360/hardware/console/troubleshootingconsoleproblems/downloadingupdatestoconsole.aspx
First try a system restore back to the last date which you remember that it worked. If that doesnt help, you must find out what cd/dvd burning software is in your computer. It may have been corrupted.
Oddly enough, you don't need drivers for the CD/DVD drives. They
aren't even recognized unless you have a good non-microsoft burning
program. Find out what burning
software you have--download Belarc Advisor, a free
program (Google it) which not only tells you everything in your computer, with
model and serial numbers for hardware and all of your software (with their
unique codes), but will also inform you if you are missing any needed
Windows updates. Once you know what you have, if it came with the
computer, you have to seek an upgrade at the computer manufacturer's
website, as it may be a special program not related to the burning
software purchased from the software manufacturer---go to their
website for upgrades.
Go to microsofts website.
You need to download a patch-file. it,s a free download, which you can either burn to a cd. and load into the 360.
or download online connected through xbox live.
i,m pretty sure it,s a small xdm file.
if you struggle doing it, mail me here and i,ll send you 1 through the post.

What you could try is to find the update on the internet (xbox website). If you find one you'll probably need to burn it to a cd to transfer and install it on your console. Problems like tis are usually solved via external downloads. Good luck
