Hello, Have used Nania Newfix Solo child seat very satisfacorily for 3 years with harness. Now time to remove harness (leaving back of Childseat in place). Have removed harness as per instructions -...

Right,
After several months of struggle to find written instructions how to attach the central harness adjustment strap (The one with metal anchor at the end) to the red clip (buckle) strap as seems to be shown in instructions. budyn71.jpg
I have found number to temtex uk company that supplies nania products to argos on 01162844910, while emailing them on sales@teamtexuk.com had no result. There's no need to attach the two. Central harness adjuster strap has to be detached and pulled by it's front end as far as it goes. budyn71_0.jpg
While red clip strap threads through the gap between backrest and the base. budyn71_1.jpg
And red clip strap threads through hole (bracket) at the back of the base. budyn71_2.jpg

How do you remove the cover and belts on an evenflo car seat with this number on the side 25801158?

Turn the booster seat around to the back and locate the metal splitter plate that the harness is attached to. Remove both harness straps from the splitter plate. Locate the TensionRight knob located on each side of the seat in the front by the baby’s foot area. Turn the TensionRight knob to the back as far as it will go to take up the slack on the splitter plate strap. Pull both harness straps through the seat back to the front of the seat. Remove the harness strap from both sides of the chest clip and from the buckle tongues. NOTE: Please leave the buckle tongues locked into the **** strap for storage. Remove the harness strap from the seat. NOTE: Reattach the chest clip to the harness strap so they don’t get lost. Turn the booster seat upside down and locate the metal harness anchor. Turn the metal anchor sideways and push it through the slot to the front of the seat.

I haven't seen a video for it, but I'll try to explain it clearly. To install it with the LATCH system, locate the anchors in your car - U shaped metal anchors in the seat, where the back meets the bench part. See your car's owner's manual - many cars don't have LATCH in the middle of the back seat, so you'll have to install it in a side seat or use the seatbelt to install, instead. Recline the carseat all the way - there is a handle under the harness adjuster on the front of the seat. Pull the handle while pushing back on the top of the seat. Tuck the top tether strap under and hook it under the base or the seat - it's only used when forward facing and is dangerous if left flapping. Pull the seat cover off of the front corners of the seat. Thread the black latch belt through the rear facing belt path (the holes on the bottom front of the seat - there should be a sticker identifying the path), making sure that it does not twist and is behind, not over or in front of, the **** strap, but in front of the the slots that the bottom of the harness straps go through. Replace the seat cover. Put the carseat where you want it in the car. Look to see that the level lines on the shoulder belt positioning guide are level with the ground. Double check that the top tether is secured underneath the seat. Fasten one latch hook to the anchor in your seat, going from above the anchor, so that the clip part of the hook is on the bottom and the solid side is on top. Repeat on the other side. Kneel in the car seat to push it firmly into the seat while pulling the strap tight through the adjuster. The seat is installed tight enough when you can grab it at the belt path and can not move it more than 1 inch side to side. It is normal to be able to pull the top of the seat towards your car's seat back some. To install it with a seatbelt - (Please note - you can only install with the LATCH system OR the seatbelt - doing both together increases the stress and force on the seat and can damage it!) Recline the seat and secure the top tether as above. Place the seat in the car and make sure that the level lines are level with the ground, as above. Thread the seat belt through the rear facing belt path (again, the holes on the bottom front of the seat...look for the sticker). Thread it under the seat pad. Like above, it should go between the bottom slots for the harness and the **** strap. Buckle the seat belt. Kneel in the seat, pull the seat belt all the way out from it's feeder, and feed it back in, pulling it as tight as you can. Check for tightness as above. While your child is rear-facing, the harness should be in a slot that is even with or below his shoulders. Pull it snug - when it's tight enough, you shouldn't be able to pinch up any slack lengthwise at the shoulders or hips and it should lay in a straight line without any sagging. Make sure the chest clip is even with the baby's armpits, not over the neck or the belly. Good luck!

I hope this information helps:

1) There are harness anchors (metal clips) located on the bottom of the seat. Push these up through the slot to the front of the seat on both sides. To do this, you will need to pull them toward you, and then turn the anchors to fit through the slots.

2) You should be able to remove the bottoms of the straps at this point. Remove them, then pull the tops of the straps through the slots. (You will need to remove the buckles during this process.)

3) Slide the straps through the slot you need for the correct harness height.

4) Replace the buckles in the correct positions.

5) Replace the bottoms of the straps into the harness anchors.

6) Push the harness anchors through the padding and back into the bottom of the seat. Clip into place.

Missing Instruction Manual

https://plweb.evenflo.com/faq_detail.aspx?faqid=4407 the above link is for the manual but here are the instructions. If you have two plastic harness adjusters located on the back of your seat please follow the following steps: On the very bottom of your car seat locate two metal anchors one on each side of the seat, pull the metal anchors out of position and turn them sideways and feed them through to the front of the seat. Release the buckle tongues and chest clip and pull the harness straps to the back of the seat while pushing the chest clips, buckle tongues and harness anchors through to the back of the car seat. NOTE: You may find it easier by pulling down the seat pad when feeding the straps through. All pieces will fit through the harness slots. Choose the appropriate slots for the new harness position. Push the harness anchors, harness straps, buckle tongues and chest clips back through to the front of the seat. Once the straps are completely pulled back through to the front of the seat, make sure the straps are not twisted by clipping the chest clip together and buckling the buckle tongues, then feed the metal anchors through to the bottom of the seat and clip anchors back into place. ********************************************************************* If you have an adjustment strap that is located in between the child?s foot area that allows you to loosen and tighten the straps please follow the following steps: Loosen the harness straps by pressing the harness release button that is located between the child?s legs near the feet area; while pulling on the harness straps from the front of the car seat near the shoulder area. Turn the car seat around and from the back side of the seat follow the straps down to the metal splitter plate, remove the ends of both straps from the metal splitter plate. Once the straps are removed, pull both harness straps completely through to the front of the seat. Choose the appropriate slots for the new harness position and feed both straps through from the front of the seat to the back of the seat. Making sure straps are not twisted; hook each end of the straps back onto the metal splitter plate. Tighten the harness straps by pulling the adjustment strap located on the front the car seat between the child?s legs. NOTE: Final adjustment of If you have an adjustment strap that is located in between the child?s foot area that allows you to loosen and tighten the straps please follow the following steps: Loosen the harness straps by pressing the harness release button that is located between the child?s legs near the feet area; while pulling on the harness straps from the front of the car seat near the shoulder area.
