Moto V6 Maxx micro SD card is not recognised

What happens when you put someone else's micro sd card in your phone? Does your phone recognize the other micro sd?

If it doesn't recognize that one, then it is your phone that has the problem and you should contact the manufacturer or the store you purchased it at as it needs service.

I am trying to get pictures from my pc to my env3 I have a sd in and still can't figure it steps please.. thanks

Two ways that I am able to do this:

I have uploaded and downloaded pictures from my micro-SD card, while it is in the phone, using a USB cable between my phone and my computer. The cable from my wall charger comes out of the charger, and becomes a standard USB cable, and that works fine for me.

With the phone turned on, plug the cable between a USB port on the computer and the phone. Once this is connected, on the phone, go to "Menu | Settings & Tools | Tools | USB Mass Storage2_bing.gif". Then the phone should link up with the computer, and it should appear as its own "removable drive". The micro-SD card has directories like "my_sounds" and "my_pix", etc. Copy your pictures into the "my_pix" directory. Then, in your computer, there should be a way to tell it to disconnect from the USB device (I'm using Windows, and in the "system tray" on the start bar, there's an icon that you can click that lets you specify a USB device that you are going to disconnect.) Once you do this, the pictures should be visible on your phone. (This is just a shot in the dark, but just to be sure, if they don't come up right away, try turning the phone off and back on again.)

I am also able to remove the micro-SD card, and plug it into an SD-card slot on my computer (with a micro-to-SD card adapter), and it mounts as a removable drive that way, too. Again, copy your images to the my_pix directory, put the card back in the phone (you should have the phone OFF when removing and reinstalling the card, but it's OK to turn it on while the card is out.)

I have only used .JPG format images; I haven't tried any other image formats.

"Storage Device Unreadable. Format Now.?"

yes there is a possible solution to your problem....there seems to be a problem with your card....and it doesn`t look like you can get your data back from it you will have to format your memory card....connect your card to a computer through a memory card reader by also using your micro card`s adaptor and then format it from your computer......hope this helps.....please vote us to help you better

Memory card micro sd cannot format

  • Insert your memory card into your computer's reader if you have one. If not, you can purchase a multi-format USB Memory Card reader from or
  • 2 Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
  • 3 Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
  • 4 In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
  • 5 Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
  • 6 Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

    Nokia N96 Corrupt Card

Open the card on your PC and copy all your files to a folder on your desktop. Then go to my computer, right click the memory card and format. When a little window appears just click start.

If your files are deleted then paste them from your desktop back onto your card. This should fix the problem.

Problems with formating samsung e250 micro sd card

Did you try to format the card in the device thru Windows Media Player, or Rhapsody? If so, try formatting it thru My Computer instead. My Computer>Device Name>Right Click and select format. It is most likely NOT a virus if you have only put music on the device. It is most likely a corrupt file, or a database error. Best of Luck.
