No its not with the samsung alone. Both of your cameras suffer from defective CCD. I think if the cameras were manufactured between 2002-04 then they must be having manufacturing defect. Contact your local Samsung and ask about the world wide problem of defective CCD that were replaced by almost all the camera manufacturers FREE of cost.

I have a brand new VP-D31. It still has the protector on the screen. I acquired this (legally!) but it has no charger,cables, battery or any etcs. I got it from the Police Auctions and was too ignorant to understand what I was getting. The item was obviously stolen from a store shelf - hence no bits. How about you buy it from me?

OK there are NO cables as such for that PC, as of normal, to get Video into this machine you will have to use either, a USB TV/Video card, and use the AV inputs. OR put a Video TV/Video Capture card into a PCI slot, and again use the AV inputs to connect via. The you will have to use the AV leads Yellow, Red & White, OR the SVHS port if available. You will also need software to record the video stream, If you camera has FireWire then you could install a FireWire Card into a PCI slot and hook you via that, you will still have to use software though. Sometimes the camera, has proprietary software to edit and work with the Video from the camera, usually via FireWire. To get said software go to the manufacturers web site, and download a copy.
