Maytag model PYE2300AYW won't do anything at all

I have a Maytag dryer model #PYE2300AYW that won't run at all. We have checked everything that can be checked with an ohm meter and we have power to everything that is supposed to have power.

I have the same problem.  I do not see the fuze you are talking about on the right side.  The only thing I see is a round like fuze on top of the heating element.

Hi, Did you check the safety fuse on the right side of the heater housing? Little fuse with two white wires going to it?
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

And you know it is getting 240V. Door switch have continuity?

If all that checks, you must have a bad timer. Does the timer motor get 120V to it?

Trying to think of all optionss for you.

Hi!

Please check to see whether power is getting to the washing machine. Is it plugged in? Has a fuse blown or is a circuit breaker tripped?
It may be the lid switch is defective, the washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.

Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.
Thanks

go here and you can see the parts in your dryer,if the model isn't a maytag pye2300ay then just put your model number in there and it will show you, kenmore doesn't make anything, you go by the model number if it starts with 110. it's a whirlpool,if say 417. it's frigidaire made but the maytag model you sent has rollers and i would say if you have a kenmore 80 series it has rollers, you can buy a kit that comes with the rollers, belt and belt pulley

WHY MY MAYTAG DRYER PYE2300AYW WON'T START

Test the thermal fuse on the side of the heater housing. It should read closed for continuity. If open, you will need to replace the kit. Here is a link to the kit you need.

My Maytag PYE2300AYW will not start

First thing, At the back of the dryer check the you have 220 Volts 110 on each leg If you have the
Correct voltage. Then Check the Thermal Fuse if your good with a ohm meter check them all.
Saves you time in the end. After you have the correct Voltage UNPLUG THE DRYER BEFORE
YOU CHECK ANYTHING ELSE GOOD LUCK!!!

Maytag Dryer model number PYE2300AYW will not start.

check your fuses in the dryer their is only one fuse that could shut down the whole dryer like that. Open back panel and get a volt meter and check for continuity on the fuses. HOW? first un plug it then open back then you will see the heating element their are 2 fuses on the heating element take off wires and check those. Then if those are ok look down thier is another fuses its long white with 2 wires comming out of it with a black center that should be your problem check it repair it run it . GOOD LUCK

My maytag performa pye2300ayw dryer will start but will not heat up. No matter how long I leave it on, it just won't heat up. what could be the source of the problem? the model number - pye2300ayw rev - 10...

You have a thermal overload switch that may be bad. It is located under the top of the dryer. Check first the breakers. Turn them off and then back on, then check the wiring in the back of the dryer and then the element itself. It may take 30 minutes to do all of this, but it will save you a lot in the long run.

Pye2300ayw Dryer will not start. I think it is a bad door switch. How can a confirm this?

Change your thermal fuse first. when thermal fuse goes bad either the whole dryer won't run or the heat element won't come on. Check out item # 3344 at www.repairclinic.com/Appliance-Parts?s=t-pye2300ayw-%3d%3d&z=100 If your thermal fuse is bad there will be no continuity through it.
