Ccomponants will not power up

Hp pavilion a6437c has no power to the monitor, keyboard or mouse. Cannot hear any sound like a bio's beeps. Keyboard lites flash for a split second then go out. Heatsink cpu fan spins up fast then slows down. Hdd spins ok. DVD/RW drive working ok. Media Card drive ok. Power button comes on & stays lit ok. PSU lite on back comes on & stays on nomally. Removed memory chips one by one. Removed all hardware one by one. Tried another new PSU. Removed both password & cmos jumpers & swith them back. Tried the sleep mode keyboard function F1 to try to get it out of sleepmode. Simply has no power to the preferals I mentioned. Found NO sweeled capcitors on MOBO & no burning smells. Removed the CPU & applied new paste. Suspecting maybe the MOBO is bad. Thanks! David

HP Pavilion PC Desktop a6000 BIOS not working

you have to considered this thing so you have at least an idea where the cause came from.

1. check weather the fan of the processor is rotating, if not mother board issue. make sure all the output voltage from the psu are good.
2.check the hard drive, if you can hear a spinning disc if none, that was mean it was a hard drive problem.
3.check if you can hear a beep sound then try to listen if how many times does it beeps.
4. before you tried to come up with trouble shooting the first thing that you can do is to check all the connectors and cable which may have loose connection.
hope this can help good luck.

PC Turns On But Doesn't Connect To Monitor, Keyboard, Or Mouse

It sounds like a ram problem, what error beeps are you getting when first booting. The ram will make all fail if faulty, if you have two banks of ram remove one and reboot, if problem the same remove the other and replace the first, If you have boot success it is the ram, has some one told you it was the power because they were wrong, has there been a storm recently, as a last resort I would reset the cmos to default, you will of course need to re-set the boot order etc, let me know how it goes please

PC was booting to HP screen with constant beep. Keyboard nonfunctional. Tried different keyboard / mouse and no keyboard mouse with same problem. Pulled battery to reset cmos, now system powers up for 1...

If the computer is not reaching the BIOS screen one of the components is most likely faulty. I strongly suspect that it is either the Motherboard or the CPU. If you have made sure the CPU is seated correctly you may need to try alternate motherboards or try the CPU in an alternate computer/Visa-Versa. Hope this helps you troubleshoot and good luck.
