Question about Saeco Vienna De Luxe Espresso Machine

New Saeco Vienna Delux

I have a new (well, reconditioned off of ebay from Whole Latte Love) Vienna Delux.  I have these machines in my 2 offices and have never had a problem.  This one however, will not seem to work. I am able to get it to grind, but water does not seem to meet the grounds.  It seems to be a primng problem...  when turning on the water knob, I get noice but nothing else.  Any suggestions appreciated for priming or getting this machine to work,

Take off the water tank and get a primer tool from saeco. (cost about 1$) is sort of a seringe.. It can also be a faulty filter in the tank

Hello. I have a Saeco Magic Cappuccino Plus machine, which should be similar to the Saeco Magic Cappuccino machine that was occasionally discussed on FixYa. My machine was working OK until yesterday. I hit...

Yes. The thermal fuse is incased in a browish/red cover and is held on to the boiler by a clamp that holds the thermostats on. Slide the fuse out from the clamp and slide the cover off the thermal fuse. Test with a ohms meter. If its bad you should get no reading. You can get a new 182c thermal fuse from Radio Shack, electronics store, or appliance store. If no luck there online espresso machine retailers like Seattle Coffee Gear, Whole-Latte-Love, 1st-Line should be able to help you. Do not try to solder the new fuse in. It has to be crimpwed on or it will blow again.

I have a Saeco Vienna Delux, coffee is being grinded but it is not making its way out. I removed the nozzle which divides coffee into 2 but a few drops are coming out. what can i do?

I think this will help you.
There are a couple of things on a delux that can cause this.
Your grind is to fine ( the big knob in the bean hopper is below 8. If it is turn the big knob to a larger number. You can turn the big knob any time but it has to be grinding to turn it to a smaller number. 3 cycles before it has changed the grind in the brew unit. You can push the button to stop so you don't have to wait for it to finish. If that is not it go to the next solution.

I'm attempting to replace the grinder on my Saeco Vienna Espresso machine and have gotten down to the ring of ball bearings and I don't know how to remove that race to remove the motor from the plastic...

If you have gotten to the ballbearings you have gone to far. The motor includes the gear reduction portion, which is what you are working on. If you just bought the motor, you are out of luck on replacing it. It is better to buy the whole grinder than just replacing the motor. You get new burrs with the new grinder. They are already correctly adjusted.

Saeco Vienna grinds too much coffee.

If you have the Delux or Digital there are 2 knobs in the bean hopper. Turn the small knob back 1 mark and see if that will help.

I just picked up my repaired Saeco expresso machine. The people that work here are very professional and spent a lot of time with me showing me how to properly clean my machine. It was about a 30 minute drive east from my house near the Galleria but it was WELL worth it. I say that as I sip on some homemade Latte - yummy!
