Question about Whirlpool GHW9150 Duet Washer

Clunking (banging) noise when in use.

It is out of warrenty and it is making a clunking noise when in use. What could the problem be? Is there an online guide for disassembling/reassembling on this model?

Clunking banging noise

It may be something stuck in the drum, ie a bra wire, which would have extra weight on it whilst the clothes are wet. If this is the case, it will need looking at sooner, rather than later, as it will just be causing further internal damage

GMC JIMMY making clunking noise in back

I believe I would carefully check the u'joints first. Get under it with the emergency brake on,the wheels chocked and the transmission in neutral.
Check if there is any slack or movement in in the tube..
I hope this helps. Robert

HI sounds to me like your drum support is worn, it would make a thumping sound. You have 2 you should replace them both.
If you are needing a part - call this toll free number 1 877-489-5610, I have used them many times, they are the best. Best of all overnight shipping!

Our new LG dishwasher makes loud clunking noise

I believe this is a brand new dishwasher. Please listen carefully to determine of the sound you hear (clunk) is being made inside the dishwasher or is it being made near by. Most times, the problem is that the hot water pipe is baking the noise when the dishwasher closes the water inlet valve ... and the pipe goes "clunk"
I have not had an LG dishwasher make a clunking sound inside itself when the cycle changes. Also, because this dishwasher is so very quiet (well insulated) the pipe banging would be louder than something inside the Dishwasher.
If you have access to the hot water pipe, listen very near it when the cycle changes for the sound. Follow that pipe (hot water) pipe back and insulate it at the point it is banging. (or get a plumber to evaluate and resolve.)
Please get back to me with what you find, OK?
Good Luck!
