Lamp light green is a normal code. Try turning set on 3 times and see if lamp light goes red. If it does you have a bad lamp. Also check to see if lamp is on all the time. This a problem that can happen and service tech needs to fix it. Let me know what happens.

Turned on tv, no picture, only sound

the problem is likely the projection lamp .. you can replace that yourself if you are handy .. you must unplug the set and make sure everything is cool ...avoid getting finger prints on the new lamp ...here are a few places where you can get a new lamp ... you can also see what it looks like on this site ...

the lamp is likely in a cubby in the back of the set (where you used to see the bright light) ...

the lamp is mounted in a cage ... you can get the lamp already mounted in a new cage from here ...

......it costs more mounted but its easier to change and you will need a new cage if yours is damaged .. from the site above you can see what the cage looks like with the lamp already mounted ..

your lamp is a model 915p049010 ... that is available thru amazon at a good price here:.(includes cage)........

WD-62525, continous amber lamp light. No picture. Lamp is good.

Hello:

Make sure u replace the lamp cover as the safety switch need to be closed to make the set work. If new lamp did not repair your problem , then it may well be the Ballast Board, Sometimes call the Lamp Driver.

I need to change the bulb in my WD65731 dlp tv. I have taken the cartridge out. How do I get to the bulb. I repleced my lamp and still have no picture. Am still getting a "blinking" lamp light on front...

The blinking lamp light refers to the lamp door not being closed. There is a little lever behind the main panel and if that's not shut, the lever won't be pressed in and therefore the light blinks. If it's a failed lamp, the lamp indicator light will be a solid, not blinking.

the buzzing noise you are hearing is from the lamp ballast as it strikes the lamp. that is quite normal but it should only be momentary. it should not be constant.
