The cleaning feature only cleans the igniter. This can happen automatically by just setting the clock. Clock button in Set position, set current time, button to Normal. The cleaning will happen at 2AM each morning.

Good luck,

Hello
1 Turn on ps, then remove any disc in there.
2 Insert cleaning disc.Make sure tv is on and your set to proper input as you would if playing games.
3 A image should come on screen.
4 Use controller to navigate to cleaning cycle and hit x button i think to start cleaning.

If this does not work take laser cleaner back, and purchase another one.Not all work in ps3 or ps2.

Toyostove laser 56 error code CL02

The CL means that it is in the automatic clean cycle. The 02 means that it has 2 minutes left. It will automatically do this at 2:00 AM. If you don't have the clock set it will do it whenever it thinks it's 2:00 AM.

My Pioneer Auto CD Player has an Error 11 & 12 message, plays for a few minutes then the error message shows

the laser eye needs cleaning.....i actually just did mine today, just with a normal cleaning cd...if it doesnt work first time, smear a little nail polish remover on the cleaning disc, it works a treat........error 11 and 12 mean the laser cannot read disc properly......starts and stops depending on how much cleaning is required....

Toshiba SD5000 ...get a constant flashing "load" message

often the laser can become blocked by dust hair or smoke accumulation .. you can take it apart and clean the lens with eye glass cleaning solution .. but be careful its really delicate (flexible mount) .. there is something else that you might want to try first .. at most appliance stores they have a cleaning disk (about $8 or you can sometimes find them for $2) .. this disk has a brush mounted across some tracks .. dont touch the brushes .. just insert the disk and it will automatically brush off any dust or hair .. it wont however remove smoke .. its usually worth a try and works about 70% of the time .. you can clean the lens periodically with that ..

if you clean the lens directly then dont spray anything on the lens .. spray on a lintless cloth, soft paper towel or qtip .. dont get spray down into the mechanism .

the lasers do go bad with time and are often replacable but the cost + labor is almost always greater than replacing the entire unit .. the "laser" is actually a complex optical system that both transmits light and receives light .. it also has an automatic alignment mechanism as part of the "laser" assembly .. you have to replace that entire thing as a unit .. you cant just replace the laser .. ..

Self cleaning MAytag Gemini GAS oven

A wonderful feature is that the ovens self-clean with the press of a few buttons. Only one oven can be programmed to self-clean at a time. Remove the oven racks. Turn off the oven light and close the door. Press the "Clean" button and then press "Auto Set" to automatically clean the oven for 3 hours. Press the "Auto Set" pad again to set the oven for a 4-hour clean cycle, or press the button one more time for a 2-hour cleaning. The oven locks when in cleaning mode. When the oven is finished cleaning, the word "Cleaned" will be displayed on the control panel, and the oven will remain locked until the oven has cooled, which takes about an hour. To cancel the self-clean cycle, just press the "Cancel" button. Simple!
