Question about GPX MW3837 MP3 Player

1 Answer

System Manual With my system came an instruction manual and it has Using Windows Media Player 9 & instructions, Using Windows Media Player 10 & instructions, Features Defined, System Requirements, & Connecting To A Computer, but wheres the information on how to use it. It did not say how to charge, for how long to charge, how to plug it in to the computer safetly, how to unplug safetly, how to turn the system off. when it's hooked to the USB cord i'm afraid to unplug it because I don't know if the computer has to be turned off, or if the system has to be off first, don't know how to turn system off, or stop it from playing. So how do I find all this information?

The easiest way to remove your equipment is to look for the icon at the lower right hand next to the volume icon. Go to the mp3 icon left click once and a prompt will appear (safely remove usb mass storage device or it'll have your mp3 players) and you're good too go.

GOOD LUCK =)

I can't download music to my San Disk 1GB MP3 player that I got for Christmas. I did not get a manual with it.

To put music on your Sansa e250 you will do this:
Download Windows Media Player 9 or 10 to your computer. I would use Media Player 10 as it is the newer player. After you download Media Player 9 or 10 open it up on your computer, and then hook up your mp3 player, it should be recognized by Media Player and then you can transfer the songs to it. You need to put the music cd in your computer cd player and download the songs to Media Player using Windows Media Player 9 or 10. I have also included a website where you can download the user manual, it will say e200, but the instructions are also for the e250. Good Luck, I hope this helps. Please rate me, Thank You.

My daughter got a Sandisk clip for her birthday....I have NO idea how to put music on it HELP!!!!!

Hello,

There's a manual for the Sandisk Clip going to next link:
http://www.sandisk.com/media/53255/clip-usermanual.pdf

First read the instructions how to make a connection to a computer:
page 10 of the pdf file (= page 8).

When running Windows operating system, music can be put on the player using Windows Media Player 11. See the instructions in the manual from page 11 (= page 9)

More information about using Windows Media Player 11 on the Microsoft site:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/using.mspx

When i down load a movie from a sd hc card the movie won't work on the window media player it say codec problem

You need a good codec pack. I would suggest KL codec pack full. You can download it for free from here. http://www.codecguide.com/

It will allow you to play just about any video format in windows media player. Note if you are using a 64 bit operating system you need the 64 bit codec pack. Don't forget to rate me.

No cord and instruction book

the model you aks about should have come to you with both manual and USB cord. you may find a generic typeA to typeB USB will work though. When connected open Media player and click the tab SYNC to copy music to the device (you can also lower the compression as you don't need CD quality for earphones/mp3, this will give you extra space for songs on your mp3 player)

Gogear 6330/17 - Creating/Adding Playlist

You MUST use Windows Media Player 10 - Windows Media Player 9 or 11 will not transfer the playlist correctly.  Once you have version 10 installed, then the instructions in the HDD6330 user manual will be accurate.

HELP!

The manual won't help...here are my guides...

The instructions in these pages, which are largely links, pertain to Windows Media Player 10 and 11 only.

Windows Media Player is made by Microsoft. The general help page for Windows Media Player is:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx

Through this link, you can enter a variety of search terms that will help you find what you are looking for (exs.: “add files to my mp3 player”; “delete files from my mp3 player,” etc.)

Important Vocabulary:

The code word for “mp3 player” in Windows Media Player is “DEVICE” or “portable device”

The code word for adding files is “SYNC,” “syncing,” or “synchronizing”

The code word for copying files from CD is “RIP,” or “ripping”

The code word for files stored on both My Computer and my Mp3 player (when it is connected to the computer) is “LIBRARY”

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/wmp10/harrison_wmp10.mspx

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/sync.mspx

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0085.mspx#EDF

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/getstarted/ripcd.mspx

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

MyMusix doesn't seem to carry a manual for that model, but you can get contact info from their website:
http://www.mymusix.com/

All of their previous model were plug and play - did not require an installation CD. You would use Windows Media Player to transfer and delete songs. Here are some links to Windows Media Player help files:
