Question about Creative Labs MegaWorks THX 250D Computer Speakers
I have Creative Megaworks THX 2.1 250D speakers for my computer.
Plugs plugged into the back of my subwoofer, when my speakers are powered up are as follows:
I have a green audio input cable plugged in, a volume control plug plugged in and left and right speaker plugs plugged in.
While all those settings are present, I only have my right speaker and my subwoofer producing sound. My left speaker does not produce any sound.
Was hoping someone might know why my left speaker isn't producing any sound.
Have I wired up my equipment incorrectly or has the left speaker simply stopped working?
Many thanks in advance for any queries anyone may have. They will be much appreciated. Cheers

First things first:
* this is a creative labs speakers models sub problem**
if you have warranty I suggest you use, Creative is alert on this kind of pop up sounds and others, concerning the subwofers.
time to RMS, or fix on house or other person who can change some resistors on the SUB.
other than this, ...just change for CREATIVE 7800 speakers, are good, and they correct this issue on this ones, I got it and I have 3 years with them and no problems.

Hi, had same problem.... unscrew the remote and carefully remove the back end part of the stereo-connector (very careful !) it consists of a very small switch which moves sideways..... this switch is stuck into headphone-modus. Reassemble and it will work again
Note that speakers will work if you remove the switch

Testimonial: "Super info you've given...Thanks. Was going to replace it, but your suggestion is even better. Do you have to remove the switch to remove the casing?"
